Lately, this little one has been wanting more than just milk.  He lunges at our dinner plates and makes a raucous we are eating.  He opens his mouth and babbles like crazy as he watches each piece of food enter your mouth.  We recognized his signs of being ready to try real food.  He had so much fun mashing his fingers into the bananas and attempting to get them in his mouth.  I think only two slivers of the food actually made it there.  He didn’t care though.  He had a cool spoon to play with (when he wasn’t dropping it on the floor).
