A Year of Stories – A Little Bit of Eyeshadow

Most mornings when I’m getting ready, Miss M doesn’t pay much attention to what I’m doing.  But there are a few mornings, when she sees me take out my makeup and asks for “just a little.”  I always give in and brush the white eyeshadow on her eyelids and cheeks.  This day her asking wasn’t prompted by seeing my makeup.  She just wanted to feel “fancy.”  I have never seen anyone put on so much white eyeshadow and the look on her face when she was done was priceless.
