Every mom has her own story of how she got here.

For some, the excitement of meeting their baby comes easily. For others, it takes a little more time to let themselves believe it’s really happening.

And then suddenly, those months of waiting turn into weeks. The tiny clothes are getting washed, the baby things are coming out of storage, and meeting this little person you’ve been dreaming about feels closer than ever.

I love getting to photograph moms during this time, knowing that each one has her own story and so much to look forward to.

And I’m so excited for these two to meet their little boy. 💛

I mean, how lucky am I that I get to do this?!?

I get to photograph the way your little one looks up at you with those big sweet eyes. The way your kids pile on top of each other for a hug (even if they were arguing five minutes earlier 😂).

All these little things you see every day but might not think twice about.

And I get to help you remember them.

Goodness, I love my job! 💛

Maumee Bay is always a favorite, and I think it’s one of those spots people forget about in the fall.

The grass gets long, the beach is quiet and there’s plenty of room for the kids to explore while we hang out by the water.

It’s just as good in October as it is in July. 🥰

Family photos in the Wagoneer? Obviously we had to! 💛

So fun to have everyone piled in, cuddled up and their treasured jeep became a pretty cute place for photos.

And now I kind of want everyone to bring a cool car to every session!!
