A session with me as your photographer will truly capture what this moment with your family feels like and allow you to cherish the images we create together for many years to come. We won't be sitting and forcing a smile towards the camera. Instead, we spend our time together playing games, running, cuddling, and making each other laugh in a beautiful outdoor location in the northwest Ohio area. This means the images from your session will reflect your family and the love you feel for one another.

Outdoor sessions are photographed at sunrise or sunset for ideal lighting. Studio sessions are also available.

$100 session retainer is paid before your session to reserve your session date and includes the above items. The session retainer does not go towards a collection purchase.
*Petite sessions are only available on select Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and are at a location of Cynthia's choosing.
i'm worried my child won't "behave" for photos. will it be a disaster?
First of all, I expect kids to act like kids. Please don't get embarrassed if they start to get restless or want to go in the opposite direction of my camera. This is a huge reason why I try to build up trust with little ones before I even begin shooting. When they see me as a new friend, then they think we are just playing and this makes the photo session fun for them (and you!) If they want to move on to something else while we are shooting, then we do. I notice their cues and when I sense any frustration from them I will try some of my tricks to curb any kind of meltdown. And if they need a minute away from the camera, that's okay too!
can you help me with what we should wear?
Of course! I would love to help you decide on a color scheme and wardrobe options that will not only compliment our choice of location but also look fabulous hanging on the walls in your home. When you reserve your session with me, you will have access to a virtual styling session with me. This will help guide you in choosing the perfect photo-ready outfits and accessories for the whole family. You'll look fabulous and be amazed at how easy it is to pull everyone's look together!
how far in advance should I book a session?
I take a limited amount of sessions per month so I would suggest reaching out to me at least two months (more if you want a fall session) in advance. If you are booking a maternity or newborn session, please contact me a few months before your due date. But don't worry, if you are a procrastinator (like me), I'd love to hear from you too. I may have a last-minute opening so don't hesitate to reach out!
I feel so uncomfortable in front of the camera. help!
Oh, momma, I know just how you feel. It can be hard to step in front of the camera. Through pre-session planning and me working some great camera angles, we can work together so you always look and feel your best at your session. The truth is your kids aren't getting any younger and your future self will thank you for making an effort to preserve these precious moments with your family.
why should I book a session with you?
This is where I'm supposed to sell myself and tell you how awesome I am (wink, wink) but I don't want to do that. I want you to hire me because the images I create move you. Because you love what you see on my website and you want art like that for your family. Because you want me to tell the story of what this moment feels like through photographs. I promise we will have fun and what I create will be authentic to who you are while focusing on your beautiful love and connections with your family.
