A Year of Stories – A Morning at Fallen Timbers
It was a cloudy and cooler morning when we met some friends at The Shops at Fallen Timbers. Even though we live close by, we hadn’t gotten a chance to check out all the neat things they have there. They could play life size chess and checker games or digin awesome sandbox filled with many toys and a ride one dirt digger. But the one thing the kids loved were the coy fish. When we walked over to the edge of the dock to get a better look, they started swarming. The feeder just happened to be where we were and those smart fish knew they were going to get some food. The kids were so captivated with throwing the pellets into the water. When the stash of food was gone, they kept busy picking up any that dropped on the dock. Miss M is already talking about going back and brining more dollars to feed them!
This post is part of a weekly storytelling blog circle. Be sure to round out the fun and check out Renee Bonuccelli Photography and her excursion to Jasper National Park.
