A Year of Stories – Summer Nights

These carefree summer nights of playing in the last bit of sunshine will soon come to an end.  It is bittersweet to welcome a new season.  I know we will all miss cooling down in the sprinkler after dinner. Many times skipping a real bath because water is water, right? It is so magical to watch little ones and their excitement for something so simple.  This is the first time they have played in a sprinkler this wide and they both thought it was hilarious to drink the water.  When they noticed the huge puddle that was forming on the driveway, they immediately ran back and forth stomping in the puddle all the while I watched on with wonder.
