 Do you ever delete photos of yourself with your kids because you don’t look “pretty” in them?

I sure have…

It is so hard for me to not see my flaws in photos but I have promised myself that I won’t do this anymore.

Mainly because I’ve been organizing my hard drive and have found so many hidden gems that I thought were trash right after I took them.

“I look puffy…I’m making a weird face…I have a roll here…”

None of that matters.

Do you know the reaction I’ve gotten from my kids?

“Mom, look how cute we are!” “Aww, I was so little.” “I love your smile.” 

Our kids see so much more than what we think are flaws. They see our love, they see someone who is always there for them, and they see just how beautiful you are – even if we can’t.
