Fort Meigs Perrysburg Ohio
I don’t remember what led us to Fort Meigs Perryburg Ohio on this beautiful sunny day. I remember stopping the car and kids being so excited at the big fence and open field. They ran all the way from the parking lot to the big gate. M quickly proceeded to push at the doors. She discovered they were locked. Luckily, a little setback doesn’t stop her fun! We walked around the length of the fence and dreamed about what it would of been like in the “olden days.” Fort Meigs is a little piece of Perrysburg history. It was fun to learn more about the battle that took place there while we wandered.

Before & After
One thing that instantly stood out to me about Fort Meigs was the scale of the fence. For this image, I wanted to be sure to play on that juxtaposition between the little ones the gigantic structure in front of them. Looking at this image on the computer made me a little disappointed. So crooked! It is usually hard for me to shoot straight all the time. Thank goodness for the straighten tool in photoshop. The downfall to not getting it right in camera is when you straighten in PS, you will loose a bit of your image. After straightening the image, I added a color pop and little warmth. Overall this was an easy and quick edit.
