Cynthia is an on location lifestyle and storytelling photographer serving the Toledo, Sylvania, Maumee, Holland, Perrysburg, Oregon and Northwest Ohio areas. She is available for maternity, newborn, baby, children and family portraits and documentary photo sessions.
Gathering Volumes Bookstore
When you walk into Gathering Volumes Bookstore, your senses come alive. Books are neatly displayed on tables and shelves. Rows and rows of colorful book covers and intriguing titles pull you in and you can quickly lose track of time browsing their 8,000 different titles. Denise opened Gathering Volumes after seeing a need for an independent bookstore in the area after regularly driving to Ann Arbor for new releases and her favorite books. With a little time and lots of courage she, opened Gathering Volumes. With a comfy long and tea station, she encourages the store to be a gathering place for those enthusiastic about sharing their love of reading and community.

Summer is in full swing and that may mean a little extra encouragement to keep your little one’s mind fresh and engaged. Gathering Volumes has many different learning based activities all summer long. From story time for your toddler to book club for your emerging and well established readers, the activities are endless! The children bookclubs are especially fun for young readers because the kids love to share their thoughts about the books with friends. Summer Fun!
Where’s Waldo is celebrating 30 years and Gathering Volume will be celebrating along with them! They will be hosting a scavenger hunt so your kiddos can track down Waldo in local businesses around town. Finding him will mean a cool prize and party at the end of July. I know my little ones will love to play along and discover Waldo around town.
