Kids’ Summer Activities in Toledo
Summer is my favorite season. The long, carefree days of doing nothing and everything at the same time bring our family so much joy and togetherness! But it took me a few summers to learn the best kids’ summer activities in Toledo. I’m spilling all my favorites today for you to enjoy!
Spending summer with my kids allows me to relive my own summer memories but with a fresh new perspective. My favorite moments with them are often the ones we spend in the backyard running through the sprinkler, making s’more or trying to catch fireflies.
I also love our summer adventures. It’s not something I got to do a lot as a kid with my parents so spending time picking strawberries or running through sunflower fields together always fills my cup and my camera memory cards!
One way I make sure we can stay organized with all the things we want to do is by making a summer bucket list. It’s something we do together and it helps me to know what things they absolutely want to do while on summer break. Plus it keeps us busy on those days where I need to find an activity to occupy their time.
