A year of stories – The Bond Between Siblings

Last week at MOPs (mother’s of preschoolers) we had a guest speaker who focused on fostering siblings relationships.  This is something I have thought about so much.  As a mom, I want my children to be close to each other and love one another.  I want them to know how lucky they are to be in each other lives.  The speaker’s advice on the best way to grow their relationship with each other?  It was to love them differently.  We all know how different each child is from the next.  They are unique and what they need from you is not the same as their brother and sister.  Seems so simple, yet something I never really thought much about.  As a mother, watching your children bond and their love grow for each other is an incredible thing to witness.  I hope I can continue to help them their discover their love for each other.
