Do you need a personalized stylist? (Hint, the answer is YES!)

Getting dressed in your daily life should be easy. You know what’s comfy and won’t get ruined by your kids and you know what to pull out for date nights, but for a lot of clients choosing what everyone should wear for a photo session is HARD.

My family had a photo session last fall and I stressed big time about what we would wear. Choosing outfits for one or two people is a piece of cake but throw in more than that and all the coordination can be tough. Luckily, I know the process and how best to choose pieces that will photograph well together and work with the colors in nature at the time of your session.

This year, I have started personalized styling for my clients and the feedback has been AMAZING! Through one quick 15-30 minute zoom call we can choose everyone’s outfits together, including links to purchase those items. But we can also use pieces from my client closet or your closet so you don’t need to buy all new items.

The trick to pulling it all together…style boards.

How many times have you tried to choose your family’s outfits and then put them on your bed to see how they look together only to realize the color of one of the pieces is off or the pattern doesn’t go with another piece? Style boards make the process so much easier! This is a storyboard of all the pieces we can choose from already put together before you buy anything.

Here are some examples of the personalized style board you will receive during our styling call. I like to create 3-4 of these for you with the color options or pieces you have pre-selected. No worries if you don’t have anything specific in mind, I love having the freedom to select pieces without guidance as well.
