The house was quiet when I got a text “I think you should come now.” It was time! I was so excited to get to Toledo Hospital and document the arrival of this sweet family’s baby girl. The excitement was so strong from mom and dad. I watched as they joked with each other and reminisced about their first born’s delivery. They were a little anxious because the clock was slowing ticking away and her birthday was the next day. They really hoped for each of their girls to have their own birthday. After only what felt like an hour, mom told the nurses she was feeling pressure and sure enough it was time to push. In a few short minutes, Avery was born. The pure joy on her parents faces is something that will always stick with me. Mom was the calmest and most relaxed woman in labor. I was a bit jealous of her fast delivery! Dad was just beaming. Documenting them become parents again was an incredible experience and I know they will treasure these images for a long time.
