What happens when you plan a super last minute family trip to the beach?  You end up going during a tropical storm of course!  We have been in Texas for almost 10 years and never ventured to the gulf coast.  Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we so enjoyed visiting Galveston.  The articheture was so fun and the shore was beautiful.  And the food…boy did we indulge on lots of delicious seafood!  I don’t think we have ever had such yummy shrimp.  I already wish we could go back!!  Luckily for us there is a beautiful beach area near us in Toledo so hopefully we can still have fun on the sand.
