Trendy Bubs – Cute Kid Clothing Toledo Ohio

You’ve probably seen Trendy Bubs at local events around town or your friend’s tots rocking these cute kid clothes. I got the chance to learn more about this adorable, hipster toddler clothing line at the Baycreek & Co monthly market. When you see these clothes in person, it is easy to fall in love with them and want all the pieces for your little ones.

Emily and Karla are the proud owners of Trendy Bubs. They are former west coast residents who both had their first baby boys within months of each other. As they were dressing them, they kept finding all the same type of clothes for them (lots of trucks and sports). They thought that they could be dressing cuter than what was being offered. They started making clothes for their boys using fun prints and designs. They soon realized that other moms would love their designs too. They built a great community of moms on Instagram and their shop became super popular.

Fast forward 3 years later and Emily is now local to the area while Karla is in Nashville. Even though they are in different cities, they work as a team so well. They design their pieces together and shop locally for fabrics so their customers have a lot of choice when purchasing outfits. They both support their local community by being at events, buying their fabric locally (when possible) and are small town girls at heart. They stock different pieces for events than what you can find online so if you see them around town, be sure to check out them out!

The Designs

It’s amazing after looking at their pieces to learn that both Emily and Karla are self taught. It almost makes me want to take up sewing…almost! They put so much love into their designs and have so many options to choose from. Leggings, harem style pants, shorts, swimwear, sunsuits, komos, screen printed tees and hoodies are just a piece of what they offer in sizes up to 4t. Plus have you seen the adorable and on trend prints?

The most popular style right now it their cropped jogger pant. It is perfect for spring. Their customers love them!
