Woodlands Park Perrysburg Ohio
When we moved to Perrysburg last summer, I knew we were lucky to be so close to Woodlands Park. We could even walk there! The kids could spend hours at the park and they love how big this particular playground is. So many slides, swings and things to climb all over. If you haven’t been to Woodlands Park, you should definitely check it out!

Wow, this is a big difference right?!? Taking images at the park isn’t my favorite thing. Usually I have to chase my kids while simultaneously adjusting my settings. For this shot, I was in the right place with the wrong settings! My ISO should of been higher so I could my image was properly exposed. It was still set for the bright playground, not the inside of a slide. Mistakes happen, especially when shooting in manual mode. This is where post processing can come in handy.
After bringing this photo into ACR, I adjusted the exposure by a little over a full stop. I noticed that the white balance was looking a little too blue so I increased the temperature slider to 5550. Then, I opened the image in photoshop. I used the patch tool to clean a some marks on his face and the marks of the slide. Last, I added a center point vignette to bring all the attention to my subject. The final image is polished and looking great!
