A Day at the Beach!

I always approach photographing families the same way I photograph my own. I know moms want images of their kids in those everyday moments. The moments that tell you about their personality and allow you to go right back to those days when they were small. It’s those images that tell a story and can be so powerful as you view them in the years to come.

These are the images that I’m most drawn to create. And this family outing is filled with lots of moments when my two little ones were just having fun being kids. They loved being able to “skip” school this day and go on an impromptu adventure. When we got to the beach, I heard cheers as they ran to the shore. The water was freezing but slowly they creeped their toes in and tried to splash about. So many sandcastles were built and it was such a fun day!
