It was a cold spring day when I met the M Family.  Penelope had just turned three the day before our session and was super excited to tell me all about it!  Her party must have been a blast because there were still presents to be opened in her room.  She tore into two of them while she showed me some of her toys.  She got a new dinosaur puzzle and my little pony play dough.  She had to play with the play dough right away!  Dad and Grandma (and her pup too!) help her make lots of fun creations.  We had a plan to go to sidecut metro park for a bit but would you believe when we got there it started to hail/snow (white stuff was falling from the sky in May!).  We quickly headed back to their home instead to get warm.  Penelope and her Nanna got some reading time in while we waited to see if it would up a bit for some outside fun.  It didn’t but we played anyway.

Meeting this family felt like meeting old friends.  It is always such a pleasure to get to know families and document the moments they will want to remember years from now.  Mom was very smart and knew this time in her family’s life is fleeting.  It was so apparent how much she adored her family and how much they all cared for each other.  I hope when they look back on these images, they will see that.
