ย Itโs no secret that I adore lifestyle photography and it is even better when an at home session is suggested by the family.ย When the โJโ family contacted me for a session, I was thrilled to get a chance to capture their daughterโs six month photos.ย I love this stage when they are discovering the world around them.ย Sadie was such a doll!ย We started the session with a leisurely feeding in Mom and Dadโs arms.ย She was very curious about my camera and kept giving me great eye contact when she would hear the shutter.ย I think I distracted her a bit!ย I did love the closeness and connection I was able to capture while she was eating and all of them holding hands made me swoon!ย When Sadie was done, we stopped by the window for some cuddles with Mom.ย I just adored the way the light was surrounding them.ย Then we made our way into Sadieโs brightly decorated nursery.ย I think Mom may have another career on the back burnerโฆlol.ย We ended the session with a little playtime before Sadie needed a nap.ย I feel so lucky that the โJโ family allowed me into their home and I was able to preserve these memories for them.ย I canโt wait to see them again for Sadieโs twelve month photos!
