Maumee Bay Beach
A few weeks ago, we decided to skip homeschool for the day and have an “adventure.” We took the kids to Maumee Bay Beach for a little playtime. It was a bit too cold to go into the water. They didn’t mind with all the fun to be had on the sand and having their toes in the water. I actually think they would of gone in if we let them. We can’t wait to go back more this summer! Before & After
When I took this image, I loved the movement of the birds in the background and how both M and Jr were caught throwing rocks. The colors seemed really drab to me so in ACR, I played with the blue/aqua saturation under the HSL panel. I adjusted it manually because I wanted to keep the colors natural. I then used a curve layer to add more pop to all the colors. This image required more photoshop than what I normally do. I knew I needed to clean up the sky thanks to all the dust on my sensor and I wanted to remove the toys on the sand since they didn’t add anything to the story of this image. I was able to easily do that with the patch tool. After a crop, the image was finished.
