When my husband was in the army, there was a saying that he was told a lot. It was “hurry up and wait”. This reminds me of how it feels to be expecting your first baby. There are a lot of unknowns but the excitement of what’s to come can almost feel too much at times. I love focusing on the joy that can be found in the waiting.
