Toledo Zoo Aquarium
Last fall, we bought passes to the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium. It was the best purchase! I love that on a whim we can decide to go to the zoo and that is exactly what we did on this warm March day. One of the perks of homeschooling, is we can visit places like this during the week when it isn’t as crowded. M always love to grab a map and plan which exhibits we visit. On this zoo trip, we saw a lot of animals but they seemed to spend the most time in the aquarium. Little man loved watching the seals swim back and forth in front of the window and followed them all around. It was almost like they were playing with him. He loved that! And M finally got a chance to check out the touch aquarium. She tried so hard to be brave but couldn’t bring herself to put her hand all the way into the aquarium to touch the sting rays. Maybe next time she will be!
