Say hello to the “K” family.  I met mom through my neighbor and I was so glad when she mentioned they were looking for a photographer.  I will admit when I first meet people I imagine photographing them.  These kids have the best personalities and their eyes sparkle so I was very excited to get them in front of my camera!  Ella is the oldest and we talked about monster high and how she plays with her brothers.  Noah is a fire ball!  When we were playing in his room he started a stuffed animal fight.  His laugh was the so joyful as he threw animals all over.  He also had to show me his special Seahawk helmet and actually requested a photo in it.  Future football player perhaps?  Then there is Bode.  Don’t you just love his name?  This little boy is full of smiles!  Every time I see him he smiles so big his eyes twinkle too.  We played with monster trucks and in his crib.  I loved how he had to peek at me through the bars.  He was just too much fun!!  Oh and I can’t forget about their dog.  She is the sweetest boxer I have ever met and she posed so well when it was time for the group photo.  Don’t you just love the flair she added to it?  After we did the traditional photos, we tried a few dramatic portraits.  I really enjoy the timeless feel and emotional response these kind of images can create so I was so happy when this family was up for doing this.  Ella had so much fun with her “dramatic” faces.

I feel so lucky that I got the chance to hang out and photograph this family in such a relaxed way.  I hope you enjoy seeing their story through photos as much as I enjoyed capturing it.  🙂
