Want to know the best compliment I’ve ever gotten as a photographer? It’s actually two things…the first is when you refer me to your friends and family. That means the world to me! The second is when another professional that I admire asks me to take their family photos. There is a special honor in receiving that request.

When my sweet friend Tiffanie reached out about photographing her family, I jumped at the chance. If I’m being completely honest, it also terrified me. I wanted to be able to give her the absolute best images I could.

I loved her vision for this session. She really wanted it to take place in the wheat fields on her family’s farm. The colors she chose went beautifully in that setting. We also got sunshine, golden light, and then a stormy sky followed by being rained on. If I could change one thing, it would have been for the rain to have held off a bit longer so we could have had a little more time together. I loved photographing them!
