way that’s hard to put into words, ⁠
but 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘁 the second you walk ⁠
into the room.⁠

These first days go by in a blur, ⁠
and having even a small piece of ⁠
them saved means 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.⁠

“There’s only four more weeks until school starts.”⁠
⁠
My daughter told me this in the saddest voice. ⁠And honestly… 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦.⁠
⁠
I’m in such disbelief that summer is almost over. ⁠It flew by in that strange way time does when you’re both ⁠𝘴𝘰𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 and feeling like you’re barely keeping up.⁠
⁠
This 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹...⁠
a little stressful, a little chaotic,
but also slower in the best ways. ⁠
⁠
There were late bedtimes, swim days, unplanned adventures, ⁠and way more ice cream to keep us all cool and happy.⁠
⁠
I’m 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘧𝘶𝘭 for what 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 gave us. ⁠
And also, a little sad to let it go.⁠

This time of year always makes me wish I could slow it all down. ⁠

just this sweet family leading the way ⁠
around their little hobby farm ⁠
in their 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱.⁠
⁠
𝘞𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥. ⁠
𝘞𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥. ⁠
𝘞𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥. ⁠

What unfolded wasn’t a checklist of poses or perfect smiles. ⁠
⁠
It was something 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. ⁠
⁠
𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. ⁠
A glimpse into what ⁠
their everyday feels like⁠ ⁠
𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦.⁠

These are the kinds of moments that matter. ⁠The ones you’ll look back on and say, that was 𝘶𝘴.⁠
