Here’s a little secret…I used to be scared of photographing tweens. There was something about kids that were a bit older than mine. I was worried about how to make sure they felt comfortable in front of the camera and honestly I was unsure how to do that.
One question I often get asked is, how do I find my locations? It takes A LOT of scouting to find places to take clients. We are so lucky that the Toledo area has so many wonderful Metroparks. There are so many hidden gems within them and the best way to discover them is to get out there and search.
I was so excited when my aunt asked if I could do a photo session with her and her daughter. They are so special to our family. It means the world to me when I can share this gift with the people I love!
One thing I’ve dreamed of for years now is a dedicated indoor space. I want to be able to create beautiful images year-round. Plus I knew having my own space would allow me so much creative freedom.
