Fall Family Photos at Oak Openings in Ohio – Location Spotlight

Before we moved to Ohio from Texas, my father in law took us to Oak Openings during one of our visits. It might sound silly, but I was completely blown away by all the trees! This Florida girl didn’t know what to do with so many oaks everywhere.

Best Summer Locations for Photos in Northwest Ohio

Summer in Northwest Ohio feels like long golden evenings, wildflowers brushing against little bare feet, ice cream melting too fast, and kids staying up way past bedtime. Around here, summer nights usually end with my kids still outside long after they were supposed to come in, either spraying each other with the hose or bouncing on the trampoline while the sun disappears. It’s messy and loud and the kind of thing I already know I’ll miss someday.

That’s probably why I love summer sessions so much.

Photos on the Maumee River – Fun Family Photos

The first time I found this spot along the Maumee River, my boys were instantly all in. Climbing over the rocks, filling their pockets with little treasures, and skipping stones until the sun disappeared behind the trees.

That’s what I love most about this location at Side Cut Metropark. It feels peaceful and adventurous all at once.

How to choose the best family photographer

Trying to find a new photographer for your family can feel like… a lot.

Everyone you know has their favorite, and the second you ask in a Facebook mom group, you’re suddenly staring at a hundred different names wondering how you’re supposed to choose just one.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you’re not doing it wrong. It just means you care.

Toledo Ohio Lifestyle Photography Studio Tour

You’re excited to have found me and are thinking about a studio session, but maybe you’re wondering…what’s it really like when you walk in?

From the moment you step through the door, you’ll see this space was designed with you in mind. Kids can explore little nooks or play with a few toys while parents relax with a cup of coffee.

what would you like to do next?
