I took advantage of the big blank wall and placed the bassinet against it. I didn’t like the brown/red undertone of the paint so I decided to change that!

A 𝗺𝘆𝘁𝗵 about newborn sessions...⁠

You might think your baby 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰 be sound asleep for me to get beautiful photos.⁠
⁠
𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩...⁠
⁠
Some of my 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 are of ⁠
𝘸𝘪𝘥𝘦-𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴, ⁠
staring up at their parents or ⁠
locking eyes with me for just a moment.⁠

especially in those early days when everything still feels so new.⁠

One of my favorite parts of this job? ⁠

The fun conversations that pop up during our sessions! Like when this sweet momma was chatting about school options for her little ones, and it led to me sharing about our co-op. She ended up joining this and it was so great to see her and the kiddos each week. ⁠
⁠
It’s moments like these that remind me how much this work is all about connection. So with summer break right around the corner and the kids out of school… how about a momma + kids meetup? A chance to let the little ones burn off some energy, make new friends, and just enjoy a laid-back afternoon together. ⁠
