One of the great joys in having more than one child is watching the bond that unfolds when your children get to meet their new baby brother or sister. Whether they are instantly in love with their new sibling or they need a little time for that love to grow, I always love being able to document this connection at newborn sessions. Your heart moves in a new way when you have all your babies together in one frame.

We all love flipping through those photo albums filled with candid laughs, silly expressions, and heartwarming embraces. what about those perfectly posed family portraits that make you feel like youโre flipping through a magazine? Itโs the age-old dilemma: candid or posed?
When I first began photographing client sessions, there was a particular type of session that always made me incredibly nervous. Can you guess which one? It was whenever there was a tween or teenager in the family. I think I was so anxious around this age group because I didnโt have much experience capturing their moments in front of the camera.
