Have you ever found yourself so busy taking care of everyone else that you forget to capture your familyโs moments together? I get it. As a photographer, youโd think my kids would have endless albums of perfectly posed pictures. The truth? Itโs been a challenge. Between juggling the demands of motherhood and feeling less-than-camera-ready, itโs easy to let the days slip by without stepping in front of the camera.
As a mom and photographer, my heart is deeply connected to the work I do with The Gold Hope Project. Itโs not just about taking photos; itโs about offering families something they can hold on to, especially during times when life feels incredibly fragile. Recently, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful two-year-old fighter named Oakleigh. Her sweet smile, her spirit, and even her dog joining the session made it an experience Iโll never forget.
