Some days we need a reminder that motherhood is beautiful. Too often, we can be found wiping a dirty butt, cleaning mushed food stuck in the carpet, and looking like a hot mess. โ On the days when the messes keep coming and we havenโt been able to shower or brush our teeth, we need to know there is beauty within our story. โ โ
This session was my first outdoor session of 2022 and I have to say Iโm blown away by the images we were able to create. I love when families decide to include the whole family in a maternity session. There is something so special about photographing everyoneโs bond with each other and the new baby.
Hereโs a little secretโฆI used to be scared of photographing tweens. There was something about kids that were a bit older than mine. I was worried about how to make sure they felt comfortable in front of the camera and honestly I was unsure how to do that.
If there is one thing that I believe in strongly, it that whatever gift youโve been given needs to be shared. This is one of the reasons I give back with The Gold Hope Project. Giving fills me with so much joy and I was so happy thatโฆ
Want to know the best compliment Iโve ever gotten as a photographer? Itโs actually two thingsโฆthe first is when you refer me to your friends and family. That means the world to me! The second is when another professional that I admire asks me to take their family photos.
