Outdoor Maternity Photography Toledo – A Maternity Session for Two

One of the things I love most about maternity sessions is the focus on connection between you and your spouse.

When my husband was in the army, there was a saying that he was told a lot. It was “hurry up and wait”. This reminds me of how it feels to be expecting your first baby.

Intimate Maternity Photos Toledo Ohio – She’s Expecting Twins!

When we were scheduling this session, mom was originally going to come alone but last minute she realized she would be bringing her son. So glad she did because I love the photos of him giving his brother and sister so much love!

Ohio Maternity Photographer – Maternity Session with Older Kids

This session was my first outdoor session of 2022 and I have to say I’m blown away by the images we were able to create. I love when families decide to include the whole family in a maternity session. There is something so special about photographing everyone’s bond with each other and the new baby.

How do we remember 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 ⁠
before it quietly becomes the 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦?⁠

I’ve been thinking about this 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 lately!! ⁠

My “littles” aren’t so little anymore, ⁠
and some days I can almost 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 these childhood years moving ⁠right past me...𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵!!!⁠

Photos have brought me so much 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵
with those feelings.⁠

They give me something 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼
when routines change, ⁠ along with their cute little faces...
and this version of our life ⁠starts to look a little different (hello everyone waking up after noon!)

Maybe you feel that heaviness 𝘵𝘰𝘰....⁠
that tug to bottle up as much of this time with your littles as you can.⁠

You don’t need a big plan for an extended family session...⁠you just need your family 💛⁠

This evening at @gardenview_flowers looked a lot like what you’d do if I wasn’t there with a camera. ⁠
⁠
The photos weren’t something we had to force. ⁠
They came from the way everyone already enjoy being together. ⁠
⁠
We wandered for over an hour, ⁠
stopped every time someone found another flower (which was a lot!)⁠ and by the end of the night we had a gallery full of moments that just... happened so beautifully!! ⁠
⁠
I love sessions like this and if you do too then we need to talk ⁠about how we can do the same for your family!⁠
