Here’s a little secret…I used to be scared of photographing tweens. There was something about kids that were a bit older than mine. I was worried about how to make sure they felt comfortable in front of the camera and honestly I was unsure how to do that.
One question I often get asked is, how do I find my locations? It takes A LOT of scouting to find places to take clients. We are so lucky that the Toledo area has so many wonderful Metroparks. There are so many hidden gems within them and the best way to discover them is to get out there and search.

Want to know the best compliment I’ve ever gotten as a photographer? It’s actually two things…the first is when you refer me to your friends and family. That means the world to me! The second is when another professional that I admire asks me to take their family photos.
